Macbeth Word Trace

Choose a word: good, blood/bloody, time, say, fear, hand(s), great, see, sleep, man, thought, look, eyes, heart, night, death, live, nature, love, etc.
Use a concordance (http://www.opensourceshakespeare.org/concordance/)  to find every instance in which the word is used in Macbeth.  Reread those scenes.
Analyze the word in context.  How does the use of the word connect to the themes of the play?  What is being communicated?

Please remember that research paper rough drafts are due for peer editing on Monday the 18th.  Make sure you have a hard copy of the paper.  Definitely bring in questions, problems, and concerns.

If you are having trouble with MLA format or the like, make sure you look at Purdue OWL.

Also, we have finished Act II of _Macbeth_ and are moving on to Act III.

AP Review

We are working on AP review now... we will get to Macbeth soon.  If you have a review book, work on multiple choice questions and outline some essays.

Make sure you are working on your research paper.  Use the links on the sidebar, and don't forget about the school library and their excellent online collection.
